The OLAS Float-On is a buoyant Wearable Crew Tracker that integrates OLAS (Overboard Location Alert System) technology with an LED flashlight and water activated strobe. The OLAS mobile application technology detects a break in its ‘virtual tether’ to the OLAS Float-On within 8 seconds of a transmitter going missing. The mobile phone(s) then sounds an alarm and records the latitude and longitude of the incident using the phone or tablet’s GPS. EXPOSURE OLAS then aids the crew with the MOB recovery, clearly directing them to the GPS location where the MOB occurred with clear visual signals and bearing data. OLAS stores all location data and time of incident required by the rescue services. As an extra safety feature, in addition to the audible alarm on the mobile device, the strobe light automatically activates once the transmitter’s integrated water sensors detect six seconds of water connection. The high-power strobe flashes once every second for up to 20 hours, is visible up to 3 nautical miles away, and provides an important additional safety tool for low light rescues.
The OLAS Float-On is a compact, ‘Smart’, man overboard system. The OLAS Float-On can easily attach to adults, children, pets and objects such as overboard floatation devices. It is small and portable and can easily be taken from boat to boat to ensure you are always protected. Activate Solo mode on the app (2G phone signal required) when boating alone and the OLAS app will automatically text message (SMS) your emergency contact with your GPS coordinates in the event you get separated from your boat.
Users can track up to 6 different OLAS Transmitters with 1 phone/tablet and each individual OLAS Transmitter can be tracked by an unlimited number of phones/tablets. If you want to track more OLAS Transmitters, add the CORE base station or Guardian Engine Kill Switch and MOB alarm scaling your system to monitor up to 15 OLAS Transmitters.
Featuring a robust yet compact and convenient design, the OLAS Float-On includes a feature button that is easily located in the dark. The LED light is effective as a flashlight used to see objects in the distance whilst also emitting side light to ensure complete all-round visibility when acting as a position indicating light or strobe. Shipping within the US
Promotional Shipping (e.g., free shipping) is only applied to orders shipped within the contiguous United States and does not apply to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or the US Virgin Islands. All shipments to Alaska or Hawaii and any other territories under the control of the United States may incur additional shipping charges based upon the location, weight and dimensions of the package once secured for shipment. Due to the distance of the above mentioned locations, please be aware that shipments may take a minimum of 5 business days to arrive.
Expedited shipping costs provided by MMarine are only an estimate. You will be notified if the actual shipping cost exceeds the estimated shipping cost. We will never charge an increased shipping fee without your consent!
International Shipping
If your shipping address is located outside of the US, additional tax duties beyond our control may apply to collect your order upon delivery. Returns
A 25% RESTOCKING FEE WILL BE APPLIED TO ALL RETURNS. Returns made within 30 days of the purchase date will be refunded to the original form of payment. Any returns initiated beyond 30 days of purchase will not be accepted. NO EXCEPTIONS. We reserve the right to refuse returns or assess additional fees at our discretion based upon the condition of the item(s) returned. ALL HIGH TICKET ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE. NO RETURNS, NO EXCHANGES.
If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the item. We will respond with instructions on how to return the item(s). Please ensure the item(s) are returned in its original packaging and properly secured for return shipment. Insurance MUST be applied to your return and tracking information of your return must be supplied to MMarine Online via email at info@mmarineonline.com
Damages
We thoroughly inspect each item(s) prior to shipment to ensure and guarantee that the item(s) is free of any cosmetic damages and/or missing parts. While we take extra measures to ensure safe and secure shipment of your product, issues during shipment - while rare - are possible.
Upon receiving shipments from MMarine Online and our partner shipping carriers, it is critical that you IMMEDIATELY inspect the package for damage PRIOR to signing for it and before accepting delivery from the carrier. If any damage is present, it MUST be noted on the carriers slip and reported to MMarine Online IMMEDIATELY. If damage is discovered after accepting a shipment, it MUST be reported to MMarine Online within 72 hours of the delivery.
In the event that damage is reported beyond 72 hours of delivery, MMarine Online will not accept any responsibility in replacing and/or further servicing your order.
It is imperitive that you document the damage(s), this means photos of the exterior of the box MUST be supplied along with photos of the visible damage(s). It is crucial that ALL packaging- the bubble wrap, the box and pallet be saved, as required by the insurance company to file and successfully submit a claim of damage.
We will replace defective products with an exchange for the same model and style ONLY.
If your parcel is left without a signature and damage is found, please contact us within 48 hours at (305)999-5212 or via email at info@mmarineonline.com. Your package should be unopened, unused and remain in the condition in which it was delivered until you successfully report a claim with MMarine Online.
Return on Electronics - Serial Number Policy
On returns of all electronics, serial numbers must match with serial number of product originally shipped and will undergo inspection; if serial numbers are not matching, a refund will not be issued.
