New versatile battery splitter for optimal charging and maintenance! New versatile battery splitters for optimal charging and maintenance! Simultaneous charging of 2 battery banks from any charging source, with negligible voltage drop. A battery splitter may be considered as an automatic battery selector switch. It ensures automatic distribution of the charging current from the alternator and/or the battery charger, to all banks of batteries, whilst keeping them insulated as supply sources. This is possible by virtue of the fact that the electronics employed, allow current to flow from the charging source to each of the battery banks separately and not the other way around. In other words: it is not possible for one battery bank to discharge into another. The battery for domestic services may be (almost) exhausted but the starter battery will remain unaffected. Once the engine has been started, the alternator will automatically recharge all banks of batteries. In contrast with diode splitters, this alternative has negligible voltage drop, due to the use of mosfet transistors instead of diodes (0.1 V at 20 A, instead of 0.7 V). Therefore, the actual charging voltage is almost identical to the voltage provided by the alternator, ensuring optimum battery charging. There is no need to compensate the output of the alternator, even if that is possible. The new battery splitter features an auxiliary connection, which provides feedback to voltage sensed alternators. VETUS battery splitter is suitable for 12 and for 24 Volt installations, for 2 battery banks, and for 1 or 2 alternators. The maximum charging current is 150 A.

Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. There are restrictions on some products and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

Promotional Shipping (e.g., free shipping) is only applied to orders shipped within the contiguous United States and does not apply to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or the US Virgin Islands. All shipments to Alaska or Hawaii and any other territories under the control of the United States may incur additional shipping charges based upon the weight of the package. Due to the distance, shipments will take a minimum of 5 business days to arrive.

Returns

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of the delivery for a refund, returns made within 30 days of purchase will be refunded to the original type of payment used, after 30 days only store credit will be granted.

A 25% RESTOCKING FEE WILL BE APPLIED TO ALL RETURNS.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Please ensure the item(s) are returned in its original packing and properly packaged for return shipment. We will replace defective products with an exchange for the same model and style only.

Return shipping costs are covered by the customer unless the product is defective from the manufacturer or damaged by shipping.

Return on Electronics - Serial Number Policy

On returns of all electronics, serial numbers must match with serial number of product originally shipped and will undergo inspection; if serial numbers are not matching, a refund will not be issued.

Damaged or Missing Goods

We thoroughly inspect each item(s) prior to shipment to ensure and guarantee that the item(s) is free of any cosmetic damages and/or missing parts. While we take extra measures to ensure safe and secure shipment of your product, issues during shipment - while rare - are possible. We suggest you thoroughly inspect the exterior package upon arrival before accepting delivery. If severe damage is apparent, the item should be refused during delivery due to “damaged packaging”. This must be notated on the carriers packaging slip to process a claim.

We allow three days for you to inspect your item(s) to report any damages and/or missing goods within your order. If your damaged and/or missing goods claim is reported after three days of receiving your order, we do not accept any responsibility in replacing and/or servicing your order.

If your parcel is left without a signature and damage is found, please contact us within 24-48 hours at (305)999-5212 or via email at info@mmarineonline.com. Your package should be unopened, unused and remain in the condition in which it was delivered until you successfully report a claim with MMarine Online.
