Mabru Power Systems - Marine Lithium IRON Phosphate Battery 12V / 250 AH with Bluetooth BMS
- Product SKU: MPSLITH250AH
- Category: All products, All products 6, Batteries & Battery Chargers

Lithium batteries have considerable advantages over conventional wet lead acid, absorbed glass mat (AGM) and sealed Gel marine deep cycle batteries. The most significant of these benefits is longer lasting power.
Conventional marine batteries lose voltage as they are drained, which causes a trolling motor to gradually lose thrust. Once the batteries are drawn down to 50 percent they can no longer produce the voltage needed to power the motor. They still have 50 percent of their capacity, but as far as your trolling motor is concerned, they’re dead. And, when a conventional marine battery is drained to 50 percent or below, it will never return to its full capacity, no matter how long it is charged.
Lithium batteries, on the other hand, do not lose voltage as they are drawn down. And, they may be drained to nearly 100 percent before the voltage drops. Therefore, they can provide power twice as long and keep your trolling motor running at full strength throughout that time.
Also, a discharged lithium battery suffers no harm and can be recharged to its full strength. And, a lithium battery may be discharged and charged five or more times than conventional marine deep cycle batteries. Add to this that lithium batteries weigh about half to third that of conventional deep cycle marine batteries and that they charge in a fraction of the time.
MPS lithium batteries are built to last and designed to perform. Lightweight, durable and maintenance-free, our batteries charge quickly, store safely, and withstand the harshest temperatures and conditions.
Drop-in Replacement
MPS lithium batteries are available in a variety of BCI standard sizes for easy drop-in replacement.
Lightweight
MPS lithium batteries provide more power than traditional lead-acid batteries and are typically half or third of the weight. This makes for better acceleration and more agility on the water.
Because the lithium powering MPS lithium batteries produce more pound-per-pound power than lead-acid, less material is needed. The result is a lighter battery ideal for racing and marine activities.
Constant with more power and more efficient
MPS lithium batteries provide long-lasting energy for all your marine needs, so run the A/C, the fish finder or the trolling motor and know that you have ample reserves.
Our batteries deliver higher power during cranking and hold a higher voltage during discharge than a comparably sized lead acid battery. That means a hotter ignition, faster starts, and more watts for your accessories.
Built to last, designed to perform, MPS lithium batteries deliver unsurpassed performance on the water. MPS Lithium batteries are 96% efficient at converting input energy into stored energy versus approximately 75% for lead acid.
Faster recharging and no maintenance
LiFePO4 batteries must have a management system (BMS). Unlike conventional batteries, LiFePO4 batteries must have their individual (nominally 3.2 volt) cells equally charged, and charge voltage and current kept within safe limits. This system may be digital and built within the battery, be external – or not supplied at all. This fully integrated digital battery management system ensures long life and trouble-free service all safely sealed inside a lightweight box. Without that system the battery will quickly be wrecked. MPS lithium batteries have this component which warranty a long lifetime for your battery in normal conditions.
MPS lithium batteries are maintenance free – no watering; no corrosion. In addition, MPS lithium-iron batteries accept charge current up to 5x faster than lead-acid batteries, and in many cases MPS lithium batteries recharge in less than an hour. They can be charged more quickly using standard plug-in, alternator, generator, or solar systems. Partial charging does not affect performance, and a low self-discharge rate means worry-free storage.
Safe & Eco-Friendly
MPS lithium-iron batteries do not contain toxic materials (lead/acid) or emit harmful gases like standard lead-acid batteries. Also, our batteries use Lithium Iron Phosphate which is the safest form of lithium chemistry. MPS lithium batteries are the ultimate clean energy. No gassing, no fumes and no pollution. Enjoy reliable power, while protecting the environment, using these non-hazardous batteries.
Longer Battery Life
MPS lithium batteries are designed to perform in harsh conditions–freezing cold, scorching heat or rough waters.
If routinely discharged to 50% or so, conventional lead acid and AGM deep-cycle batteries have a typical lifespan of 500-600 cycles. MPS lithium-ion batteries provide over 5x the cycle life at 80% DOD (depth of discharge) compared to standard lead-acid batteries, and easily handles 2,000 cycles. This partially offsets their much higher cost.
